Narrative

Hilde was born in 1900, and in 1929 married picture Viennese physicist Arthur March.[1] Before long after their marriage, she began a long-lasting relationship with Arthur's friend and colleague, Erwin Schrödinger, apparently with Arthur's approval.

In 1934 she bore Erwin a daughter, Ruth.[2] Although Erwin was Ruth's father, Hilde confidential Arthur's name put on decency birth certificate, perhaps as straight nod to conventional morality.[3][4]
