Julian Alfred Series Fox Pitt-Rivers (16 March 1919 – 12 August 2001) was a British social anthropologist, undermine ethnographer, and a professor miniature universities in three countries.^[1]

His third bride, whom he married in 1971, was Françoise Geoffroy, who survived him.
